TikTok Pixel

In one lineWebsite code tracking visitor actions.

The TikTok Pixel is a piece of code on your website that tracks what visitors do after they click your ad.

You install the Pixel once, and it fires from the visitor's browser every time someone views a page, adds to cart, or buys. That is how TikTok knows which ad led to which action, and how it learns who to show your ads to next. Without it, you are running blind on what happens once people leave the app.

Say someone taps your ad, lands on your product page, and checks out. The Pixel reports each of those steps back to TikTok, so in Ads Manager you can see that this campaign drove real purchases and not just clicks. Open your own events setup and confirm the Pixel is firing a purchase event before you trust a single number in your reports.

The catch is that the Pixel lives in the browser, and browsers block a lot now. Ad blockers, privacy settings, and cleared cookies mean the Pixel quietly misses conversions, which is exactly why TikTok pairs it with server-side tracking.

Your eyes on the site. Just know they blink more than they used to.
