The Product Catalog is the uploaded feed of your products, each carrying an ID, price, image, and availability, that powers dynamic ads.
You upload the feed by file, URL, or a platform connection, and refresh it on a schedule so price and stock stay current. Matched against Snap Pixel events, the catalog lets Snapchat build an ad per user from the exact products they viewed or added to cart, instead of one fixed creative for everyone.
A footwear store connects its store catalog and sets an hourly refresh. A user browses three pairs and leaves; dynamic ads rebuild a Snap showing those pairs, pulling live price and stock straight from the feed.
People blame targeting when dynamic ads stall, but the fault is usually the feed. Mismatched product IDs between the catalog and the pixel mean Snapchat cannot connect a browse to a product, and personalization quietly falls back to generic.
Fix the feed before you touch the targeting.
