An audience LinkedIn builds with AI by modeling a seed list you supply and finding members who resemble it.
You pick a seed: a customer list upload, lead gen form submitters, website visitors, or an engagement audience. LinkedIn models that seed and returns a larger audience of similar members, which you then use like any other audience and can layer with filters.
You upload a list of 5,000 closed customers as the seed. LinkedIn returns a predictive audience of members whose profiles and behavior match, and you add a seniority filter on top before running it.
Seed quality decides everything. LinkedIn wants roughly 300 to 300,000 records and a clean, relevant seed. Feed it a bloated newsletter export and you model noise; a bigger list is not a better one if it is loose.
The model only knows what the seed taught it.
