A targeting facet that reaches members who belong to specific LinkedIn Groups.
In campaign targeting you search for Groups by name and add them as an attribute. Members of those Groups become eligible to see your ads, and you can combine the Groups with seniority, job function, or company filters to tighten the audience.
For a Kubernetes monitoring tool you add three large DevOps and cloud-native Groups, then narrow to members with an engineering function at companies above 200 employees.
Membership is not intent. People join Groups and never return, and plenty of Groups are dormant or packed with non-buyers, so this reaches a self-selected label rather than an active interest signal.
A Group tells you what someone signed up for once, not who they are now.
