The Realtime Report shows activity on your property over the last 30 minutes, updating continuously as events come in.
You find it at the top of the Reports section. It shows users by minute, top sources, top pages and screens, events, and key events happening right now, plus a live map of where users are. You can apply a single comparison to filter the view, and click through to a snapshot of an individual user's event stream.
You publish a new landing page and fire a test session from your phone. Within seconds you see one user in the last 30 minutes, the page_view and scroll events registering, and your test purchase showing up under key events. That confirms the tags fire before you spend on traffic.
Realtime is a smoke test, not a reporting surface. It only holds 30 minutes, it uses no sampling but no history either, and the numbers here will not match your standard reports, which are processed later and deduplicated. Do not screenshot Realtime and treat it as performance data. Use it to confirm something works, then close it.
It answers "is anything happening right now," and nothing else.
